Surprising comfort on a budget
The location was super convenient, right in front of a grocery store. Our one-bedroom suite was modern, clean, and had a good shower that felt mad really like a spa!
While everything was lovely, there were no basic amenities like paper towels or tissues, which required a quick trip back to the grocery store. Slightly inconvenient when you're settling in.

really enjoyed every detail about our really nice 2 nights stay here. everyone from the staff was very friendly and excellent. the service was friendly as we had expected. also, we parked onsite.

The hotel with recently refurbished rooms, in a quiet area, close to the centre of Matamata. Magnificent and lovely location, 5 minutes' walk to Founders Park. Efficient check-in, late check-out. Not to mention private parking available onsite...

Absolutely loved the location of Matamata Central Motel. It's conveniently across from a supermarket. The one-bedroom apartment was very spacious and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchenette, made preparing meals easy. I particularly appreciated the shower pressure. It was excellent. The staff were helpful, even offering information about the comfortable mattress brand. I noticed the absence of paper towels, napkins, or tissues, a bit inconvenient and required a trip to the grocery store. The cleanliness and attention to detail were great, but a few small amenities could enhance the experience significantly.
